The guard shack is a WWII-era structure on the north side of Oak Ridge Turnpike. There is a parking lot on the west side of the building. A photo of it can be viewed here.

Directions:
The guard shack is just over 4 miles west of Illinois Avenue and about 2.5 miles east of K-25.
