Tsali Recreation Area, Natahala National Forest

Tsali features four outstanding mountain biking trails. Because they share use with horseback riders, the trails are open on alternate days, with two trails open each day for bikes while two are open for horses. Directions:
From Oak Ridge, take Pellissippi Pkwy. to Alcoa, then continue following U.S. 129 to North Carolina. At N.C. Highway 28, turn left (east). Tsali is about 20 miles east of Fontana and about 3 miles past of the junction of 28 and US 19. The entrance road is on the north side of Highway 28.
